Michael J. Melby, M.D.

Dr. Melby joined the New Richmond Clinic in 2001 as a General Surgeon. Born and raised in New Richmond, he is the son of long-time clinic and hospital surgeon Dr. Neal Melby. The second generation surgeon graduated from Hamline University with a degree in biology and the University of Minnesota Medical School in Duluth and the Twin Cities. He completed his general surgery residency training at Episcopal Hospital and Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

General surgeries performed by Dr. Melby include vascular, abdominal, head and neck and obstetrics/gynecological.

Dr. Melby & Mrs. Melby  reside in New Richmond with their three children.
